As for me, the brass one does the best job for shaving your face like you would with a cartridge razor and then the aluminum one is good for head shaves cause it’s small and lightweight. The brass razor has a lot of weight behind it and it feels great in your hand. They’re both great for a long time use I highly recommend them. The aluminum one works great for my head shave and the brass one works great for my face cause I have a course facial hair. I definitely highly recommend them definitely.

Last Best Razor

Here in my home state of Montana, one of our state mottos is “The Last Best Place.” Well this Proof Reserve brass single blade razor is my “The Last Best Razor.” Ironically, I live in Belgrade, Montana and just heard about this company. I am 52 years old and have been shaving for a long time. This is my second single blade razor attempt. First one, two years ago (another company out of Texas) did not perform well with not as close of a shave as I like. So I went back to cheap disposable plastic razors. I decided to give Proof a try because I hate using disposable things, especially plastic things and Proof is a local company. A little pricey up front (I had to buy the brass one) but this I believe over the rest of my life will be an economically sound investment and the last razor I will have to purchase. The “Proof” is in the shave and I am pleased.
