2025 was a landmark year for Proof. We doubled down on American manufacturing, brought to life meaningful collaborations, and expanded our tool offering to bring purpose to everyday routines. This year’s lineup broadened the Proof family and reinforced what the brand stands for: tools that last a lifetime, made right here, in the USA.

MKC x Proof
After selling out on Black Friday 2024, we brought back this limited-edition collaboration with Montana's foremost knifemaker, Montana Knife Company. Blending Proof’s rugged Montana machining with MKC’s distinct styling, we brought together a razor with perfect in-hand balance matched with a bold orange cerakote shaving head.
Origin x Proof
The Proof x Origin razor reflects a shared belief that the best tools should be built with purpose, used hard, and made in the United States. Featuring Origin's unique Raptor weave on the grip inspired by their jiu-jitsu gis, we finished this razor with an etched Origin wave on the handle that nods to American craftsmanship. We're proud of this razor, and had tons of fun designing and manufacturing with the Origin team.
Johnny Slicks x Proof
Johnny Slicks is known for natural grooming products and straightforward formulations in their hair and body care line. That philosophy carried directly into this razor. Built on Proof’s single-blade platform, the Johnny Slicks x Proof razor delivers a controlled, irritation-reducing shave with no unnecessary features. Just solid materials, thoughtful design, and daily reliability that pairs perfectly with their shaving soaps.
343 Firefighter Razor
We made the 343 Firefighter Razor to honor the 343 firefighters lost on September 11, 2001. A portion of every razor sold supported the Leary Firefighters Foundation, helping fund equipment, vehicles, education, training, and technology for firefighters nationwide. We partnered with our local firehouse, Central Valley Fire, to photograph and test this limited edition red razor. The stark red anodization with the etched 343 numbers made this razor visually striking and memorable for a great cause.
Carry Commission x Proof
Carry Commission is known for curating well-made tools and gear for the everyday carry aficionado. Finished in a custom Copper Clay anodization with topographic engraving, the razor pairs Proof’s proven single-blade performance with subtle, intentional design details. It’s a collaboration rooted in shared standards: intentional choices, better made gear, and built to be used daily rather than collected and forgotten.
Cleared Hot x Proof
The Cleared Hot x Proof collaboration was built around a shared respect for discipline, accountability, and doing things the right way. Cleared Hot Podcast led by Andy Stumpf is best known for its long-form conversations centered on military service, leadership, and responsibility. This limited-edition razor paired Proof’s proven single-blade system with stars and stripes and the Cleared Hot branding as a nod to intentional daily habits.
Subie x Proof
The Subie x Proof collaboration was built alongside Subie Shaves, a creator known for honest reviews, deep product knowledge, and respect for traditional wet shaving. This limited-run razor reflected that same approach: no gimmicks, just proven design and everyday usability. Check out the Subie Shaves drop video here.
Stelter x Proof
Rounding out the collab collection, we partnered with Montana Bladesmith Will Stelter for a unique razor with distinct visual flair. Its balanced performance and full in hand design made it another standout limited edition this year.
New Product Releases
Select Razor Black Edition
The Black Edition Select Razor was one of this year’s most anticipated releases, marrying Proof’s precision engineering with a sleek black finish and all-black Montana-made leather case. Its pivoting head and magnetic blade system make it as comfortable to use as it is striking to look at.
Proof Straight Razor
We introduced our first straight razor, and promptly sold out, over the Thanksgiving holiday week. We wanted to bring a top-tier, American-made straight razor option to barbers across the nation, while also making a barber quality shave accessible for at home users. Designed with the same commitment to materials and durability, we're currently building more and expecting a January 2026 restock date.
American Bison Leather Dopp Kit
Proof’s American Bison Leather Dopp Kit is an all-in-one home for grooming essentials on the go. Built with American Bison leather and stitched in Montana, this kit has a natural look and feel to it. We wanted to bring Proof craftsmanship into travel gear, and this kit has a rugged yet refined organization solution for bringing your grooming tools on the road.
Proof Comb
The Proof Comb is a standout accessory built from solid billet 6061 aluminum with tapered teeth and a chamfered finish. A durable, functional upgrade to the everyday grooming comb. Finished with a handcrafted leather sleeve, it’s evidence we're not just making razors; we're rethinking grooming tools.
Reserve Brass Comb
Joining our solid metal lineup, the Reserve Brass Comb offers a heavier, classier feel and a touch of vintage warmth in its brass construction. Most combs are stamped from plastic, made overseas, and tossed after limited use. Our solid brass comb reinforces Proof’s ethos of crafting tools built to last and age beautifully.
American Made Blade Box
The Blade Box was introduced as a solution to safely store new and used razor blades while traveling and in your bathroom. Machined from solid aluminum, it opens and closes with a satisfying clicking sound. There's two compartments, one for new blades and one for discarded blades, adding purposeful blade storage to your daily routine.
Closing Thoughts
This year was one of growth and collaboration for Proof. We showcased American manufacturing with meaningful design, and got to work with a stellar portfolio of brands throughout our collab lineup.
The Proof vision stays the same. We are Proof that it's possible for a small team in the middle of Montana to make a globally relevant product. Further validation comes from our all-American supply chain, our partnerships with leading brands, and our commitment to making lifetime tools.
